Is it better to use public transports and bicycles instead of private cars?

   Transportation is playing an important role in our life. We live in one of the biggest cities in our country. There are a lot of people and transports. Each person has his/her own preferences for travelling around the city. Some people believe that private car is the best mean of transportation while other say that public transport service should be used for this purpose. As far as I am concerned, I firmly agree that public transport service should be our main mean of transportation.

Firstly, the transit system is environment friendly mode of transport. According to the statistics, the underground can reduce more than 300 bus routes. This will help in reducing harmful gas discharges into the air.

Secondly, the accident rate of the underground is ten times lower than that of motor transport. In case of minor car accident, insurance agents wait for several hours, losing valuable time. Is the saddest that death in car accidents takes thousands of lives every year?

Thirdly, travelling by the underground is very cheap. Ask people who use private car how much money they spend on cars every month. For example, the parking, petrol station, repairs.

In conclusion, the public transport has more advantages. Public transport is considered to be more efficiency and cheaper than private car.  For this reason, we should use public transport because it is beneficial for your economy, your time and environment.  In addition, I would like to suggest that underground be extended. So that people could move around the city by underground.
