The Neolithic Revolution was a transition for human life-style from hunter-gathering to agriculture and settlement. It took place about eight thousand years ago among various tribes in Asia and the Middle East. The tribes lived in fertile areas and forming agricultural communities that grew up in villages and cities. The social effect of the Neolithic Revolution was not much higher than the immediate population growth, although on the physical and spiritual development of mankind, it has had a long term impact on population growth. It is widely considered as the beginning of civilizations. During this stage of time civilization grew into cities, writing system developed and living style started to change. City- state, living style and writing system share similarities, for example religion would be one of them, on the other hand they also share differences, such as culture, language system and etc.

Every day spent most of his life as hunter-gatherers, groups of people will kill wild animals and kill them to survive.Farming and animal domestication created a regular and sustained food supply, which led to a new culture. Strict weather conditions, animal migration, and hunger were always one step away in the long season. The Neolithic man started making use of bone and antler for making tools like needles and harpoons. Besides, baskets were made, weaving started and lots of spare time lead to division of labour. With this new lifestyle, now a large population can live in established, more sheltered areas. For the first time humans could have a business within their civilization which was possible.The Neolithic Revolution led to settlements and the advancement of group living.

City- state soon developed government and laws. They developed government because they want to protect their family. After they developed a government the civilization started to break down into cities. Those cities farm and trade with other cities to be able to get more food source. Soon cities build tall and big structure because they want a place for their family to settle in. Also the Neolithic houses were built of mud brick and were more secure.Their dwellings were constructed sturdier because the people lived more stable lives. The invention of pottery was another big tool that they use.

Before the devolved government, building and etc. they created writing system to communicate with each other. Writing is the physical action of a spoken language. It is thought that human beings developed language c. 35,000 BCE as evidenced by cave paintings from the period of the Cro-Magnon Man {50,000-30,000 BCE} which appear to express concepts concerning daily life.
