Best School Ever - Personal Experience Essay

The Best School Ever 

One of my best memories period is the time I took a school funded trip to one of the top colleges in America: WestPoint. I took the trip when I was in my last year of middle at Northwestern. Actually, the trip wasn't even mines to begin with, it was somebody else's. In the begin of our eight-grade year; we were asked to enter an essay contests. Not knowing about the trip; I enter the contest. Then, I continued the year as if nothing happened. Later on, the I was asked to speak with our principle who then asked me if I was interested in going on a trip to WestPoint for a S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) workshop because the winner of the didn't want to go and the second person they asked had turned the trip down. So, I said yes. A couple months later, me and my mother got on a plane heading to WestPoint which was in New York. It was my first time on a plane and it was a connecting flight from Jacksonville, FL to Charlotte, SC then form Charlotte, SC to New York City, NY. The plane felt like an extreme roller coaster. When I got to the school and we started our workshop it was a really fun experience. I met new people that went to went to and still attend the campus as well as students for around the country. We did different activities such as robotic exercises with Legos and drone flying.
