Culture has been threatened by certain foreign cultures, Particularly Indian culture. Mostly because of young generation’s tendency to follow glamorousculture. Regarding this some necessary steps should be taken quickly.

INTRODUCTION

Scholars have never been able to agree on any straightforward definition of culture. In the 1870’s the anthropologist Edward Tylor defined Culture as “that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, Morals. Law, custom and other capabilities acquired by man as a member of society.” Since then, hundreds of other definitions have been developed. Another refined definition of culture was given by. Another definition of culture was given by Campbell. He defines cultureas “a complex web of information that a person learns and which guides each person’s actions, experiences, perceptions’’. Georg Simmel (1858–1918), culture referred to "the cultivation of individuals through the agency of external forms which have been objectified in the course of history". It is their Representative and Comprehension of a specific clan of people, defined by everything from language, Religion, music, arts, social habits and food habits. Thus, it can be seen as the growth of a group identity Raised by social forms unique to the group.

Actually culture is what defines us and distinguishes us from others. It makes us unique, gives us an identity by which people will identifies. Cultural tradition can provide an automatic sense of unity and belonging within a group and allows us to better understand. Previous generations and the history of where we come from. In large cities especially, it can be easy to feel lost and alone among so many other cultures and backgrounds. Another benefit that comes from preserving cultural tradition as a whole is the common support. Those that identify strongly with a certain heritage are often more likely to help out others in that same community.  Because of globalization even If we want to we can’t stop the fusion among cultures. Cultural Fusion has more destructive effects than progressive ones. Most of the Times cultural fusion takes the form of cultural invasion among different countries.

Cultural fusion remains a concern for a many reasons. For one, this sort of “adoption” is abusive because it robs smaller groups of the credit they deserve. The group from which they are adapting considered advanced and edgy, while the disadvantaged Groups which adapt continue to face negative stereotypes that implythey’re lacking in intellect, creativity and more.

Background

Culture is very essential part for a countries people. Bangladesh and India has a very similar kind of culture because of some reasons. We are a Neighboring country. Bangladesh, India and Pakistan were together before the separation period. Veraciously speaking the whole sub-Continent has a similar kind of culture, tradition and religion etc. Despite of the similarities there are a lot of things that makes these Countries unique. Bangladeshi culture has many unique Parts which can differentiate it from India and Pakistan. Its music like “jari”, “shari”, “Murshidi” or its festivals like “Nobannoutshob” etc makes it unique. Even the same kind of festivals like “‘Eid”, “Puja” is celebrated in its own cultural and traditional way.
