From the table we know that the first order (same favor or different favor) need to spend 26min to finish it, and second order need to spend 36min to finish it equals 1 order in 10min. 4 hour we have 240min, so 4 hour we can finish 22 dozens (same favor or different favor).

From the table we know that is we add the second oven we can finish the 2 order in 29min (same favor) or finish 2 order in 34min (different order). If we add the second oven, the productivity increase and the bottleneck will move the mixing and dishing part.

1. What happens if Kristen does this alone?

If Kristen does this all task alone, her time for 1 dozen cookies become 8+4=12min, which Kristen becomes the bottleneck instead of the baking process. The new capacity based on the time is 60/12=5 dozen cookies per hour.

1. What happens if Kristen sells standardized cookies?

At the beginning, the cookies are many flavor. We made when the order comes in. But if Kristen sell standardized cookies she can bake the cookies before receiving order, the order might need to change the customer can directly visit Kristen place and buy the product, if need sum then the customer can make order earlier, and provide deposit. And the cookies can be ordered by number, and pulled from a freezer.
