Helping the Economy

The way I think we can help the economy is put a higher tax on the wealthier people in the United States. As in the millionaire's and billionaire's who are filthy rich and still have to pay the same tax as the poor. Quit letting people say they have lack of work and file for unemployment without proof. Another thing that could help within the economy would be if people would start using compressed natural gas instead of gasoline.

By putting a higher tax on the more wealthy would help the United States in debt tremendously. If people would get confidence on buying things it would help build up more money. Our taxes that we pay also pay for the wars. People who get laid off or quit their jobs file for unemployment and get "free" money. They need to get out and get a job depending on if they got laid off or if they quit. Also, using compressed natural gas is cheaper than the regular gasoline and is better for the economy. Compressed natural gas gives longer service life and lower maintenance costs. If semi-truck drivers, U.S Postal Service vehicles, and possibly commercial vehicles would start using compression gas then maybe it would set a good example and spread from state to state.

Many other things could be said and done to help this failing economy. As in resolving wars and bringing home our troops. Wars are expensive in money and other resources as in buying weapons for our troops. The disruptions of trade and labor management cost the United States quite a bit of money as well. The most consistent short-term economic effect of war is to push up prices, and consequently to reduce living standards. Everybody could work together and make changes inside and outside of their homes to help our economic problems in the United States.
