Undeniable Love

In William Shakespeare's play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare demonstrates how parents influence their children's actions. Primarily, The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet was written to show how parents decisions cause great damage in their children's life. Author William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-Upon-Avon in April 23. 1564 , he wrote thirty-seven plays, including such masterpieces as hamlet, Othello, Macbeth, King Lear, and Romeo and Juliet ; and one hundred and fifty-four sonnets. William Shakespeare in 1610 and died in April 23, 1616. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet was set in Verona and Mantua, two cities in northern Italy. It centers around two families, the Montague's and the Capulet's , and the feud they have with each other. Romeo, a Montague, and Juliet, a Capulet, do not care about their parents feud because they are in love. Romeo and Juliet fall in love not knowing that their love will cause their death. Unbeknown to their parents Romeo and Juliet fall in love, which causes conflict between them. The conflict between Romeo and Juliet and their parents cause them to make unexpected decisions.

Firstly, in Shakespeare's play we see Lady Capulet asking but not really caring what Juliet wants. "'Tell me, daughter, Juliet, how strands your disposition to be married?'"(1.3.65 )

This shows that Lady Capulet does not care what Juliet's wishes are, she only cares about how mad she will be if she forces her to marry. All Juliet wanted was to marry someone she loved . When Juliet finally finds her true love she says "'my only love, sprung from my only hate! Too early seen unknown and known too late! Prodigious birth of love it is to me that I must love a loathed enemy.'"(1.5.135 )
