Croke Park: Croke Park located in Dublin (capital of Ireland) is Ireland's biggest stadium and Europe's 4th biggest stadium with a capacity of 82,300. Croke Park is the headquarters of the GAA and since 1884 it has been used primarily by the GAA for gaelic game matches. Croke Park has also hosted the 2003 special Olympics , the Irish national rugby and soccer team and a boxing match between Ali and Alvin Lewis. Croke Park also broke a recent record on 2nd May 2009 when the largest attendance turned up at the Munster vs Leinster match.

Semple Stadium: Semple Stadium, located in Thurles, County Tipperary, Ireland, is the home of hurling for Tipperary and for the larger Munster area. It is the second largest stadium in Ireland with a capacity of 53,500. Over the decades since 1926, it has called itself the Mecca for hurling followers, hosting the Munster Hurling Final on many occasions.

The GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) was founded 1st of November 1884. The GAA is a sport organisation, which includes Hurling, Gaelic, Camogie, Handball and Rounders.

The GAA is the largest organisation in Ireland with over 800,000 members out of a population of 6 million. Hurling and Gaelic are the most popular sports in the country.
