The three prominent Western religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, believe in the same creation story found in the Book of Genesis. The Book of Genesis outlines the steps in which God created every aspect of life. Evolutionist argues against the fundamentalists who believe in all of the elements in the Book of Genesis. Nevertheless, evolutionists find themselves unable to answer many questions that come about when explaining what, or who, was the cause for driving life on earth. It was said that for the first 1.5 billion years on Earth, nothing but explosion occurred. Evolutionists are still unable to discover what caused these explosions to stop. Fundamentalists have one distinct answer, God.

God created the world in six days, and on the seventh day, he rested (Robinson.) On the first day, the book of Genesis says 'In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth' (Genesis, 1:1.) In continuation of the first day, God commanded the presence of light and its separation form darkness (Robinson.) On the second day, God separated the skies and oceans (Robinson, B. A.) On the third day, God separated land from the oceans: the spreading of plants, grass, and trees across the land occurred too (Robinson.) In regards to the third day, the book of Genesis says: "And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of water called he Seas: and God saw that it was good" (Genesis, 1:10), and "and the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding see after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, and his kind: and God saw that it was good" (Genesis, 1:12.) On the fourth day, God caused the sun, moon, and stars to be attached to the underside of the firmament- a dome that covered the earth. In the book of Genesis it was said: "And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the starts also (Genesis, 1:16.) On the fifth day, God created sea creatures including fish and birds. The book of Genesis says: " And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, and their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good" (Genesis, 1:21.) On the sixth day, God created animals and mankind. The book of Genesis says "so God created man in his own image, in the Image of God created he him; male and female created he them" (Genesis, 1:27), "and God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it" (Genesis, 1:28.) On the seventh day, God rested from all of his work from the previous six days.

The painting that was recreated was an image of the sixth day from the Book of Genesis. In the painting, God created the first man. This painting was originally painted by Michelangelo on the ceiling of the Sistine chapel during the renaissance between 1508 and
