I love thriller but at the same time I hate them. Because they make me flesh creep and extremely suspicious in all day long.Although I am trying to stop reading them to the best of my abilities, I am charmed by their special enchantment.

When does a ghost story become a haunting tale? When you read it and realize that it could indeed, realy happen. This takes an author who is talented and pays great attention to detail. Peggy Tibbetts is such an author, and Carly's Ghost is a hauntingly good read.

When Carly's family moves into their mountain cabin dream home, they soon discover the reason they got it for such a good deal. A slamming door and cold draft, coupled with rumors of a ghost are enough to send Carlyinvestigating the house. What she finds are keys to the past and present presence of the cabin. Can she find a way to get along with her brooding teen-aged sister through her searching? Can she possibly find a friend in the new town they now call home? Carly's ghost might be able to help.

Peggy Tibbetts has woven a storyline that is fast paced and perfectly thorough, while filling in wonderful details and breathing life into her characters. Even the ghost comes alive as her presence is felt in the readers mind. The cold drafts will chill you and slamming doors will make you jump, but like Carly, you will most likely become enchanted by this spirt, and like me, you will be enthralled by this children's novel.
