Technology is becoming a growing necessity for all human being is in the world and is becoming more accessible to many different types of cultures. Research has shown that technology growth is expanding exponentially and the effects that it has on society is changing the way human beings are conducting their life. This essay will focus on this growing change and this will affect the fashion industry in the next 20 years. This essay will try to better understand how our world will evolve with this growth in technology and how this acceleration will impact us. It will focus on 4 different areas that will be mostly affected by the developments in technology and each is given a scenario on how I believe the world will be in 20 years time.

With public health care continuing to be an issue in society, consumers are looking for ways to ensure their own physical wellness without the need for a medical professional. Developments are already being seen but I believe that 2 main topics will take the lead. Firstly, A machine that prints organs will be available for everyone in every hospital. According to the Economist, Gabor Forgacs of the University of Missouri, has already developed the prototype on which the new 3D bio-printer is based in 2011.The advantages we will have in 20 years will be that it produces tissue and organs for repair and replacements of the human body. The machine eliminates the need of a scaffold. This printer can save many lives when it enters the market. Secondly, I believe that in 20 years our phone will be able to scan us and tell us what is wrong with us. "Both health care providers and consumers are embracing smart phones as a means to improving health care," said Ralf-Gordon Jahns, head of research at research2guidance, which follows the mobile industry. In conclusion, Independent health products that assist people in taking care of themselves due to the development in technology empower people to take their health into their own hands.

Mass production will be a lot different as well. The technology of 3D printers as manufacturing machines to create a final product will have several advantages. The printers are capable to work with a broader range of materials, and are increasingly used to make final products instead of prototyping. It will transform manufacturing as it lowers costs, risks, waste and saves time. Reduction in weight of airplanes (due to new materials) will save money of fuel and cut carbon-dioxide emission. To conclude, the revolution of 3D printing will be a great new way of mass production.

The media will be nothing like the way it is now. Television in 20 years will become an increasingly immersive experience. Dedicated TVs will give way to multiple screens, and dedicated channels will go away. As the television gives way to multiple platforms, the remote control will become unnecessary. Future television will change viewing habits from passive watching to higher levels of involvement, and augmented reality technologies will blur the distinction between reality and television. Words, gestures, and gadgets will control the TV of the future. We are already seeing this as smart phones and tablets are starting to replace remote controls. Viewers will use speech, gestures, and eye movements to navigate content, and the TV will follow you
