  • Describing our target market

Our target market is upper-class families, their age ranges from 5-40 years old including parents and their children. The means of their transportation is their own vehicle. The ideal family size of our target market is with 2-3 children. Their income level is high because they have stable jobs and have a high salary and they lived in an urban place. The traits of our target market that we should consider are: has an abundance of communication with one another, encourages the uniqueness of individual members, teaches and respect the environment, views children as a miracle of the gift of life. Their hobbies are swimming, walking in the park, eating in a fancy restaurant, and relaxing. The needs and wants our target market includes: a place for relaxation because of hectic work, a place for vacation, a place for family bonding, good hotels that are located in good locations, good customer service, and covered and secured parking.

  • Appropriate segmentation variable for our business:

1. Demographic segmentation

a. Income level – We will consider the income levels of our target market. We will use this when preparing to introduce our product and services to our target market.

b. Age – It plays an important role in promoting our product and services. Segmenting our market by age involves diversifying pricing and color options, and adjusting features to fit the anticipated needs and expectations of each age group.

c. Marital status – Married individuals with children are more willing to pay higher prices than single individuals.

2.Psychographic segmentation

        a. Social class – We can segment our product and services by social class. For example, for our furnishings and souvenirs, it should match the social class of our customers

b. Lifestyle – We can segment our market by classifying people according to their values, beliefs, opinions and interests. For example, their interest is about environment and appreciating our nature, we can make a garden for them.

C. Promotion

  • Promotional tactics that we intent to use:

1. Personalized Invitations. We will mail handmade cards to past customers with a photograph from their stay in our place. The photo reminds them of the wonderful experience they had and inside the card we offer a special discount if they visit us within the next few weeks.

2. Social media – Now that everybody knows social media, we can use it to promote our products and services. We can make a suggestion box so that they can suggest something new that will benefit them and us. We will give 10% discount for reaching 1000 likes,20% discount for 2000 likes.

3. Write reviews in the Internet – we will write reviews of restaurants, foods, hotels, and resorts. We will mention our website in the review and put some link to be easily accessible for them to know that we exist.
