Apple Inc. is a global business, one of the biggest on the world. Apple got 317 stores in 10 countries, their products are known everywhere and we can buy it in lots of countries across the world.

Apple is a private profit making business owned and run by private individuals. Key people in Apple Corporation are Steve Jobs and Tim Cook they are main chiefs of apple. Apple is not under government control.

Corporation operates in secondary sector they are producing consumer electronics, computer software, personal computers also personal devices like iPods, Iphones, and iPod's

Purpose of the business:

Profit is when total sales are grater then total costs. Profit is really important in private business sector because they need money to continue production, payments, and private earnings. Apple makes profit from selling their products like personal computer IPod, pads etc. If their earnings will be too low production will stop and company will bankrupt.

Type of ownership: Public limited company

Apple is a Public limited company owned by 1706 shareholders. Founders of apple are Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and, Ronald Wayne. Apple is finances by 1706 shareholders, this is a large business .Apple has limited liability this is a type of investment in witch investors can not lose more then amount invested. Investor is not personally responsible for the debts and obligations of the company in the event that these are not fulfilled. Significant part of profit is keep by shareholders.
