1.B Leonardo Da Vinci, Last Supper 1495-1498 is painted on oil and tempera on plaster from the early renaissance.Its a Fresco which show vanishing point in the painting.It is referring to Jesus having his last meal with his disciples in which he said that one of his own at the table will betray him.The painting devised a setting of spaciousness and stability.Jesus is the focus point of the painting to show his power and authority.All the lines of the walls and ceiling beams converge in the exact middle directly behind the head of christ.The Gestures of the disciples hands also focus attention to the center where christ is sitting. The four walls hanging on each side and the three windows,alluding into the four gospels and trinity.The use of oil pigments with tempera gives length and available time to the painting, to obtain deeper color and to produce more shadow effect.the light coming through the window focus on Jesus to show is power.

Caravaggio the conversion of St.Paul 1601-1602 oil on canvas from the period Baroque create a blinding lightning flash to highlight the saint's inner illusion ans suddenly there's a shined round him a light from heaven. It give a feeling like you are close to the action and that the man could fall on right on you. The contrived space of t he painting and the real spacing of the spectator merge. There's a tense vertical rhythm with the alternation of the horse's shank and the human arms and leg.This painting is design more dramatic than naturalism.The technique used in this painting is tenebrism where the use of light puts everything in the forefront.

Leonardo da Vinci cartoon from Madonna and Child with St. Anne and the Young St.John the drawing express a special warmth and intermacy between the family.The drawing is so soft with the use of light,the dusk and cloudy weather give the feeling of peace rather than drawing in full light the modeling shape which gives the drawings it movement.the type of drawing is charcoal black and white chalk on tinter mounted on canvas. the technique used introduced realism and a sense of drama expressed through the use of light and shade which makes the drawings very three dimensional.

This painting depicts the power of the woman beheading the man.The technique used is tenebrism to create a menacing surrounding darkness for the gruesome Tenebrism: is a style of painting using very pronounced chiaroscuro, where there are violent contrasts of light and dark and darkness becomes a dominating feature of the image. Realism is brought out in the painting as Judith pulls back in a sense to avoid the spurting blood.the painting gives a feeling of anger,its very physical and realistic.this painting is very dramatic.
