I. Profile

A. History

Batcave started in year 2010 during the early days of November. It is located at Dela Rosa Street along Katipunan Road, in Quezon City, Philippines near Kentucky Fried Chicken. The Miranda-Santiago Family wanted a business that will suit the dormitory next to their territory -which is in the middle of the dormitory and KFC. They just simply want something to be build that is not available or the same thing as the other business within that small area and/or street. So they thought of a mini-grocery store or a convenience store which offers products such as food, drinks, liquors, and student-school necessities such as pens, envelopes, notebooks, and a lot more.

Upon going through the process, they realized from their observation of loyal clients that Batcave is also targeting two kinds of markets and demographics. First, we have the yuppies, teenagers, dormers, students, and young professionals who are actually within the age range of 15-25 years old. And second, we have nearby residences -the condominiums, Varsity Hills Village, etc., since it is the nearest and only grocery store nearby. Both demographics consist of any age who are in classes A, B, and C 1. Another credit would also be that the staff of Batcave involves the family's loyal personal helpers that also helped them to have additional income.

B. Developments

Within two months during the first month of year 2011, Batcave gave it's branding to its target market through people saying, "To the Batcave!" Although there may be changes in the physical appearance and products-to-offer of the store like they added more chairs and tables, meals with rice, street foods, and toys, as well as they do not already allow minors to buy cigarettes and liquors, it already have targeted it's market within a short span of time. Today, it also pleased foreigners especially Hong Kong Chinese and it had already became a 24-hour mini-grocery store.

Unfortunately for Batcave, it had already stopped its growing at the present time. Yes, it lack advertising and there are a lot of materials to be revised.
