The college football industry becomes more popular with every new season. The industry is supported by the loyal fans of colleges across the nation. Our society has taken a simple athletic game and turned it into a booming business.
I would like to research more in depth on the college football industry because I believe that there's a large amount of money that goes in it. It's been that way for years, and our generation is on the cusp of watching the industry perform as well as it possibly can. There is very much work, time, and energy that goes into producing a college football game. There is huge money pouring into the industry with ticket sales, merchandise, sponsorships, and broadcasting. We can take it a step further and account for the effect the season has on our economy. This would be due to the large amount of people buying gas to travel to games, food and drinks to tailgate, and even buying new "gameday" apparel for the event.
