It is imperative that each group consults the ADO (Academic Development Officer), Nigel Chiwese (2nd floor M-Block) and or THE WRITING PLACE (basement floor J-Block) for comments / feedback. All group members must attend the consultation. The draft that is signed by the consultant must be attached to the final assignment. [NB: The draft will not be counted as part of the number of pages of the assignment.]

All assignments handed in for assessment must be TYPED and neatly presented. It will be helpful if you get into the habit of drafting your work on a computer, so that you can redraft more easily and so that work will not be mislaid. (Keep copies of everything you submit in either hard or electronic format).

Please note that a haphazard listing of 'points', a sketchy outline or a verbal description of what you hope to do in your assignment does NOT constitute a draft. A draft is a written document in the required assignment structure, (i.e. including introduction, conclusion, references etc) that addresses the given topic.

All assignments must be accompanied by a signed declaration that the work submitted is your own and is not plagiarised in any way, and that all group members have made a fair contribution to developing the assignment.

STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO SUBMIT A "TURNITIN REPORT" with their assignment. Turnitin is an anti plagiarism software available free when accessed on campus. The acceptable percentile is < 10%
