Seanna Kaneshiro 2nd

The title of this movie has the four base pairs of DNA which are adenine, guanine, cytosine and thymine. In the subtitles all the A’s, G’s, C’s and T’s were all bolded. The title also represents a short tandem repeat. Which leads into what the movie is about. Vincent did not have good DNA and the doctors told his parents that he had a heart problem. He was not able to do anything that he wanted, everybody told him he was to weak or not good enough. He was willing to do anything so he became Jerome Morrow genetically so he could follow his dreams and go into space. I do not think what he did was ethically right in that time, I also don't think it was right for them to take the child's DNA right as soon as they were born. There society might have thought it was wrong but I do believe what he did was morally okay. If I was in his situation I would have done the same thing, after awhile you get tired of all the people looking at you different. They all stereotyped him as a person who was to weak to do anything but in reality he was the best that they had at his job. So by nobody not knowing his true identity he did just that and got to live at peace without people telling him what he could and couldn't do. When he had become Jerome Morrow he was treated just like everybody else that had good DNA and got the freedom and also got to work where he pleased. It was hard for him to not leave any of his DNA behind, he had to be very careful. That forensic evidence was very critical. So every morning he would rub off all the dead and loose skin and hair that he could and as soon as he got out would burn it. He would also apply a fake fingertip with some of Jerome’s blood in it for the finger monitors, and he wore contacts that helped him see and made his eyes look bluer. Another thing he did was clean his area when he was done working and then put some of Jerome’s skin cells in his keyboard and one of Jerome’s hair in his comb. Vincent was very careful with everything he did because he didn't want to leave behind any evidence because he did t want people to figure out his true identity.
