Henri Bendel is one of America's finest and most elegant shopping stores. Known for his accessories and cosmetic line, Bendel mainly focuses on its own label however famous high-end brands are also available at the stores. Since 1895, famous Henri Bendel brown and white shopping bags have been parading in the arms of many young women in Manhattan and elsewhere.

Bendel's flagship store is located in New York City and has been, ever since 1895, offering a large variety of chic, detailed and unique hats and gowns. In the beginning of his career, Bendel's hats were all either his own creation or from famous European designers. As a matter of fact, Bendel himself was the first to introduce then young designer Coco Chanel to the United States. The store is now in association with famous designers such as Rick Owens, Anna Sui and Diane Von Furstenberg.

The store used to carry apparel as well, however in 2009, they decided to focus on cosmetics, accessories and home decorations. Known as Gossip Girl's favorite boutique, many dresses were picked up from there for the needs of the show.

Owned by Limited Brands since 1985, Bendel's current designer is a very eccentric merchandiser named Ed Bucciarelli. However Geraldine Stutz, who was the store president for almost thirty years, was the one who had the biggest influence on the store up until now. She was the one who started the "boutiques-within-a-specialty-store" concept, which has now become one of the stores' highest characteristics.

This Fall, Topshop decided to go wild. In the Fashion industry you always expect from houses to follow up with the latest trend and of course focus on embellishing their collection. However most designers do come up with the weirdest things to maintain a unique status. While many argue that Fashion and Apparel are two different things, many believe they are very similar. Those that believe in the art of fashion are usually very eccentric. The others argue that fashion is about good taste and good quality and that the right apparel is the one that receives the compliment first followed by questions not the one that needs explanation in order to be complimented.

Obviously Topshop opted for a different point of view with this collection, because this time you will definitely ask for explanation. Those runway picks will definitely grab your attention. This eccentric and wild collection has a lot of, somewhat, 'hidden' potential.

If you go through each and every designer's collection this season then you must have noticed by now the similarities between the Topshop and the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010 collections.
