Biological Psychology

The brain is made by different parts that are involved in our everyday actions and events. Broca's area, hippocampus, hypothalamus, and occipital lobe, are involved during our evening of eating pizza, socializing, and playing cards.

First, broca's area is the region of the brain that helps me and my friends with the ability to have conversation and socializing. For instance, when we are talking to one another about how pizza is delicious, how we are wearing and son.

Second, the hippocampus is involved in our emotion, memory, and motivation during the event of eating pizza and playing cards. It helps us form immediate and long term memories of our evening event. In addition, the hippocampus is involved in socializing, such as smiling and so on.

Third, the hypothalamus regulates hunger, thirst, and so on. When eating pizza, the hypothalamus helps us to decide whether we are full or still need more pizza to eat. For example, one of us can say that he/she is not full and needs more food. In that case, we should let her/him have more pizza in order to be satisfied.

Fourth, the occipital lobe receives and interprets visual information. It is involved with eating pizza, socializing, and playing cards by forming our visual signals from our eyes, such as seeing each other, the pizza, and the cards.

In conclusion, the brain plays role in our life because without the brain we cannot exist. Broca's area, hippocampus, hypothalamus, and occipital lobe are the main parts of the brain that plays great role in the event of eating pizza with my best friends, socializing and playing cards. We should protect ourselves in order to prevent the brain injury.
