Nothing in life ever stay the same: things can constantly changing and evolving throughout time. This is also true in the aspect of relationships. Although we are taught through society that the man is supposed to wear the pants in relationships: often time the woman in the relationship takes that position of power. This aspect is illustrated throughout Shakespeare`s Macbeth, as Lady Macbeth begins to wear the pants in her house and send her husband down the path of greed and murder.

To be King Macbeth had to kill the king. Macbeth doesn't have the desire to kill anybody. The determination, the fearfulness and the encouraging words of his wife pushed him down a road of crime. Macbeth had no idea how to kill so he turned to his wife foe help. Lady Macbeth said, "But screw your courage to the sticking-place, and we'll not fail. When Duncan is asleep- Where to rather shall his day hard journey soundly invite him-his chamberlains Will I with........."

Man are suppose to have more control over, their house and be more responsible than the women. After Macbeth killed the king he forgot too put the daggers back. That made Lady Macbeth madder because she had to turn around and go put the dagger back."Infirm of purpose Give me the `Tis the eye of childhood that fear a painted devil. If be do bleed, I`ll Gild the face of the grooms winal, For it must seem their guilt."

Lady Macbeth took on the role as the leader of the relationship. She figured nothing would bother her, but she was wrong. She figured killing the king would be easy and she would only have a little blood on her hands. Lady Macbeth went crazy. She starts sleepwalking and telling everything that she and Macbeth had done to the king. Lady Macbeth went so crazy that she killed herself. Now it leaves Macbeth with wearing the pants and start to stand up for himself. "I will not yield to kiss the ground before young Malcolm Feet, And to be baired with the rabble cure....."
