Finding the specific job I was looking for was stress-free. Basically, I just followed the screen, typed in the key-words and then pressed the buttons. I found out that the website of O*Net Research Center is easy to follow and is not complicated as I thought. It does not require anyone to have a special skill to learn it. For example, when I typed the job that I am interested, which was "personnel specialist," in the search block, I was surprised to see that there were about 20 other careers are related to it that suddenly popped-up. And when I selected one occupation, for instance the "Compensation, Benefits, and Job Analysis Specialist," it showed useful information on the screen. First, on the screen, it showed some other names that it may be called. Then, the webpage tells what the job does, for example, it describes that the personnel specialist conducts programs of compensation and benefits. Finally, it shows the occupation's Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities requirements. The KSA descriptions are short in length, however, they are easy to read and easy to understand. So, any job seeker would know right away if he or she fits in the job. There are other useful information included on the page too, such as the education and technology requirements, and the estimated salary per year. The link is a very helpful tool most especially for those who are seeking job. Basically, it tells a reader if one meets the minimum requirements or is qualified or not for the job.
