Petrie electronics has an urge to have marketing and customer retention through increase of customer loyalty. The customer relationship management system ensures that there is no manipulation of customers through profitability and management systems. The diagram in figure design depicted in PE Figure 8-1 can be used in a number of ways to attract customers in the business. To begin with, the diagram can be use to market most of the products through advertisements and promotion of the customer goods and services. The DFD is used to generate customer information to the system. This information can be used by the product database to help the manufacturers of the products to design products that are tailored to be used by the consumers (Kleindl, 2007).

The help system can be used in many ways. Firstly, the help system can be used in the timing of the processes in the real system. This can be used to provide clues to the internal system to be used by the customer managers. They can also be used to provide end users with end users of the data that has been input to the system. Moreover, the design of the real systems can be developed using the models of the help system to avoid any inconsistency to the data input to the system.

Cookie crumbs can be used in the system as an item of advertisement. However, they are not desirable for navigation aid since they are only advertisement items. Although they were traditionally used to define the path in a DFD, they are not perfect because a programmer maybe unable to trace the steps in the diagram.
