Everyone always say you should live your life with no regret. Just like in "Shooting an Elephant" the narrator regretted shooting the elephant but he did it only to fit in. Most people do things that are unethical just to win over peoples views of them; not only should this go against your morals it goes against what is right. Living life with no regrets can get you in trouble; I learned my lesson the hard way. Cheating on someone not only hurts the person, but it hurts you even more. I always said that I would never be the person to cheat on my boyfriend-you should watch what you say- you never know what will happen in life. Being young is what I was blaming what I did on but at some point I had to grow up and realize that I was taught better than the actions I was taking. Its not like people weren't warning me that someday I would get caught and regret everything I did in the past year of my life.

All last year I was a party girl. If there was a party I was there. With all the parties came the guys but at the time I had a boyfriend. We had just started dating and we weren't even serious but my mind was determined to be faithful to him because in the past I was the person to get cheated on. I kept my distance from many of my exes and just random guys. I was treading the line of faithful and antisocial. All I did was speak and kept moving. I didn't want to get caught in any predicament that was going to change the out come of my relationship.

But this one party that I went to; the party that I was forced to go to because it was my cousin's party. The party that was after the Central and Ozen game and everybody wanted to show up to. It was a house party where people were wall to wall. There were so many people that we had a better turn out then the citizens of the United States going out to vote for the president. We were sweaty and stinky inside the house and after awhile my cousin got fed up with all the people and shut the party down. It was a shame but we weren't sad because my cousin and I had other plans. We made plans with a couple of friends of ours (yes they were boys) to go to a small kickback. (First regret of the night.)

At the kickback we had a lot of fun. We were just chilling and sitting in a small garage type place. We played games, cracked jokes, and talked among each other. Between all the talking a laughing came a scream from outside in the darkness. We all ran outside to see what was the matter. There was nothing there so everyone went into the house but a friend of mind (that should remain nameless) and me. He was tall, bright and built to play football. He had a voice as deep as a rich woman's walk-in closet and a face like a two month old baby boy. We stood in the darkness and spoke softly like a child trying to sneak and open there Christmas presents before Christmas.

"Do you have a boyfriend," he asked.
