In order to be prepared for a career as a human resource manager in a call center, it will be important to have some knowledge on the job functions, education and training, salary expectation, characteristics for the success in this position, and the prospects for growth in this field.

For a Human Resource Management position the minimum required educational are; basic Certified Associate Business Manager credential that is the basic knowledge of basic management principles. To better further my career I would inquire a Master's Degree, in which, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics managers with a master's degree may benefit from greater job opportunities and promotion to upper-level positions. Most prospective human resources specialists should take courses in compensation, recruitment, training and development, and performance appraisal, as well as courses in principles of management. The benefits of advanced education are the only proven means of developing and sustaining executives' and managers' business performance, enabling them to assimilate information.

The salary expectation for a human resource manager according to BLS data from May 2009, human resource managers earned a median annual salary of $96,550. The middle 50% earned between $74,480 and $127,270. Salaries for the lowest 10% were around $58,490, while the highest 10% brought in upwards of $164,270. The description of this workplace would be a business casual environment, you will have your own office or cubical, depending on the call center you are at. The growth at this position is possible if you are willing to do the work that will get advanced in the workplace, like becoming the director of the whole department, or advance to director of recruitment of future employee's

There are a lot of different characteristics of a human resource manager; here is a couple I found would be helpful in a position as a HRM: we have organization HRM requires an orderly approach, multitasking in which you have to do more than one thing at a time, discretion and business you must be conscience of the company where you work, dual focus you have to consider the needs for both the employees and management, trust employees expect the human resource to be advocates for their concerns, we also have fairness a successful HR demonstrate fairness to all employees, and strategic orientation a forward thinking HR take a leadership role and influence managements strategic path, also all HR managers must have strong interpersonal skills, because their magnitudes revolve around interacting with other employees.
