I would like everyone to know that I am JPop fan. I have nothing against KPop but to KPop fans who did nothing but to compare the two different fandom (KPop and JPop). At first, they say some bad things to JPop as a whole. Then later, insulting words are being thrown not only to the Japanese music but to the Japanese artists/idols too!

As a fan of JPop, I did not like it one bit. And I decided to defend my fandom. It's about time to JPop fans like me to voice our feelings, opinions about this matter. We have been so quiet for a long time. It is the time to STRIKE BACK! (By the way, my examples are the JE boys. I know that JPop isn't all about JE but its just that for now, I'm focusing on them..=D)

FACE THE FACT

I know that Korean Pop Music or KPop is new and continuously increasing their popularity. Here in my country, the Philippines, KPop is popular. (I will not deny that fact!). Many Korean artists already have come here in the country to have concerts. They also appeared/featured in different local TV programs and KPop albums are available in some record bars. In KPop conventions, many KPop fans are attending to support and show their love to their idols. They are really supportive. The biggest factor that contributed to the KPop popularity here in the country is the Korean dramas aired in the local TV stations. (I know some KPop songs and they are the OSTs of the Kdramas I've watched.)

On the other hand, JPop is widely known for decades now and still continuously being loved by their fans for many years too! (So for those who are saying that JPop is just a copy of KPop: Come on! Face the fact! What you are saying is not true.) JPop is known uniquely by their own and didn't copy any styles. (ORIGINAL! Yay! XD) Here in the Philippines, they are not famous as KPop but they have supportive loyal fans here who are not influenced by the new one. (We stick to JPop! We will never leave them!) NOTE: I think the reason why JPop is not so popular here because Filipino JPop fans prevent it themselves. (We don't want to expose our idols here! LOL!)

STOP COMPARING...it is no use!!!

A few days ago, I have read an article. The article was obviously KPop biased. It is fine if the article only talks about KPop... The bad thing is they didn't only talked about JPop but they said some insulting words to some Japanese artist.

These are some of the things the article said that I don't like:

1. Calling SMAP "not so good vocalists".

Are you ( the author of that article)a good singer? Are all KPop artists that good in singing or the are just using their pretty faces? [PLASTICS!(sorry for saying this..)] unlike SMAP who are just being NATURAL!

I think every group (JPop or KPop) should admire SMAP! They should wish that they can last like SMAP that already in the industry for 2 decades!

2. Hey!Say!JUMP and Super Junior

No thanks! These two groups are waaaayyyyy different from each other! The similarity is that both groups have large number of members (HSJ has 10 members while SuJu has 13.) Another thing I didn't like, is calling JUMP "Less prolific"... (Terribly rude!). Are SuJu that good in sales of album? FYI: JUMP released their 1st album last July 2010 and the sales of their album is better than some of their seniors! If you know who they are, and you've seen them perform, you can see that
