The distance entails the use of monetary and nonmonetary costs. The study analyzes how the "individual predisposition to make an effort to get and stay at a destination" it may vary depending upon the desire of an individual to do different leisure activity patterns at and away from home, as well and distinct socio-demographics and accommodation types"( Nicolau, 2010, p. 1). The paper analyze the question does distance matter when and individual or individuals interests in buying a home. Researching if home buyers are willing to endure the cost, social change, and leisure activities when buying a home in a certain distance from the city. The articles describe the steps of how an individual's research in buying a house. People will use the Internet to shop for homes to buy. Using the Internet buyers saves on finding an agent. Buyers using the websites learns the expectation of pre-qualifying for loans, finding a neighborhoods, distance in the areas. The first step, research as much as possible about home buying process, the second step is to get started on the pre-qualifies for loans, some sellers will not accept an individual unless he or she have a letter of pre-qualification. The third step is find a ideal location researching the area is an important asset. Finding the suitable community, the demographics of schools, churches, and the distances to and from the community.

There are many different thoughts that come to mind when you think of the American dream. We have heard that the American dream is "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness". Although that seems to be true there are many families that are still trying to achieve that dream.

Homeownership is one of the most talked about topics in the middle class community. Now that there are more people becoming homeowners, developers are constructing affordable and efficient sub-division communities that will give the American citizen the opportunity to own their home instead of rent.

In 2009 when President Barak Obama was giving his inauguration speech he said" after taking a surveying of the dire economy he has been charged with righting--600,000 jobs lost in January alone, a gross domestic product that shrank 3.8 percent in the final quarter of 2008, the normally exudes hopefulness for a living, pronounces them a "continuing disaster for America's working families," a disaster that amounts to no less, he says, than "the American Dream in reverse."

Now in recent months the economy of the United State has taken on a more positive turn for the future and potential homeowners. With housing development going on across the country many of the middle and upper class citizen are back in the market for home ownership.

The samples that were used in the research define the population as selling price (in thousands), number of bedrooms, bathrooms, size of the home in square feet, township, garage attached and the distance from the center of city in miles. Also included in the sample design was that 30% of the homes already had a swimming pool in the back yard.

Yes the sample size for the real estate data sets was the right size for the data that was collects to show the home prices, size of the homes, number of bedrooms, bathrooms and distance from the center of the city in miles. The data also shows the township
