When I was a kid, I always admire all the great and cool things that teenagers are able to do. And all I wanted to be is to be a teenager. And as the year goes by, I got more excited because I was getting closer to be a teenager. And now I am a teenager, I wish I could be a kid again. It is quite funny how my opinion changed that fast. Here is what I figure out the differences and similarity between being a teenager and being a kid.

Being a teenager is one of the toughest and most memorial processes in one's lifetime. A teenager goes through many pleasant times and depressions. They go through the pleasant times just like kids do, but the kids don't really go through depressing times. The teenagers can be depressing over either losing a friend, getting bullied, loneliness or low self-confident. When I was a little kid, I was allowed to do anything that I wanted to do. I can go outside, play with my friends all day long and everyone likes you. Being a kid was fun, you never had to worry about having any hard works or having a test the next day. Life was just like a wonderland. But for teenagers, you will have to go home fast after school and start to do homework and review for the test.

Every year that passed, as a teenager, my parents will give more freedom like how they allow me to go outside with my friends at night unlike when I was a little kid. I always wanted to go outside to the playground and play with my friends but sometimes when I ask my parents they would either say, "Well, what did your father say," or, "What did your mother say." And if one parent said no, then everything will be no, no matter how hard you try to convince them. Now when you become a teenager, most parents will say yes, there is less percentage that they would say no, unless it's a special case like going to the club and more. So what I realized is that parents trust you more when you grow up, because as the time goes by, you will eventually become more mature and you will know what were right and what was wrong. But for little kid, they trust you, but they will still worry if you are going to cause some problems outside because you're still young to know what was right and wrong.

However, being a teenager or being a kid still have some similarity in between like they will still have to listen to their parents, be a good child and the parents will still help and support them no matter what, because they are still not an adult yet, AND cannot be fully independent yet, so we teenagers and kids still have people on the top showing that they care and giving us all the best. Overall, there are not many differences between being a teenager and being a kid. Being a kid everything will look wonderful for you because you are still young and innocent. But as the time goes by, you will experience many different things like the teenagers, so while you are still a little kid, live every moments of your life, because
