1- Project Description –

Roots Drive-Thro is the name of my product. Roots Drive-Thro is a fast-food restaurant that will have a drive-thro available at every location. It will serve a variety of fresh salads with the customer’s choice of protein. Roots Drive-Thro will only serve healthy meals and drinks and could be considered a salad bar. The restaurant aims to serve meals that have the same price range as a burger meal at other fast-food restaurants.

2- Who is the customer?

The customer is anyone who strives to live a healthy lifestyle. The customer is also a person who wants to live a health life style but doesn’t have the time to prepare a healthy meal or the money to buy a healthy meal from a restaurant. We plan to open our restaurants near gyms so gym-goers can enjoy our food as their post workout meal.

3- Is there significant potential for value creation?

Drive-thro fast-food in the United States are a huge part of our culture. There are many people, like gym goers and university students, who want to eat healthier but they don’t have the time or money to get it. This causes them to buy burgers and unhealthy meals from fast-food restaurants. Introducing a Roots Drive-Thro to the fast-food industry will solve this problem and help people maintain a healthier life style. This creates value because we will provide the solution to many people across the Unites States.

4- What is the “Value Proposition”

Roots Drive-Thro makes it easy for everyone to make healthier decisions. We are a fast-food restaurant that aims to serve our customers affordable and delicious salads and healthy meals. We provide a drive through option for our customers who are on a time crunch.

5- How is Product or Service unique/different/ superior to other offerings?

Roots Drive-Thro is unique because it a fast-food restaurant that will solely focus on serving health meals and that will have a drive-thro. There are many salad bars but none of them offer drive-thro windows, are usually very pricey, and usually have a long wait time. We aim to be as affordable as possible. Many fast food restaurants have healthy options but they are usually not fresh and usually are unappetizing, Roots Drive-Thro will serve healthy options that will be enjoyable and fresh.
