Future Ambassador

In the Fall of 2008 I began my Electrical Engineering Technology program at South Eastern Community College. I had a tough time finding a job that worked with my programs curriculum schedule and a suitable amount of work hours that would help me get by. I had very little income that influenced my option to drive home from work at times. My decisions also forced me to cut back on specific wants and needs that included meals and certain materials I needed at school.

I have gained valuable experiences as a past ambassador; it has helped me focus on the application of applying skills to real world social situations. I experienced traits of what it takes to be a leader by working with my fellow members, and having a big bother role on other students on campus. I've gained a broad understanding of needs associated with the college, its faculty, and the foundation that I represented. Those needs further developed in me a mature adult that will strive to grab the bull by the horns in a struggle to make SCC into what it is and needs to become. I also want to get the opportunity once again apply the knowledge I've gained here; to help future students to find their place once they set foot on campus till the day they step foot off into the real world. I will strive to help them develop the ability to not only find a place, but represent SCC in spreading the word to other future potential students and aid the college in rising above the rest. SCC for life.

Here mentioned are only a few of many goals; keeping in mind that the road I have chosen to take will be hard and lengthy. While completing my goals I will look back to my parents, teachers, and councilors who have proven their confidence in me and press on. Thank you for your time and generosity, even if I am not one of the chosen in the liberty you have to offer, I'm sure your blessing will touch others.
