Gentle Hands

This book has a few characters. One of the characters is a boy teenager. He is sort of poor. He falls in love with a girl named Sky. Sky is a very rich girl. The boy works in a soda shop. There is also an investigator and there is Grandpa. Grandpa was an SS Officer in World War II.

This book is about a love story between two people. The story takes place in a quiet town in the United States. This town could be any town in the US. A young boy in his teens falls in love with a rich girl. The boy comes from a middle class family and his father is the town sheriff. The girl comes from a rich family and lives in a house on the beach. This book also deals with the holocaust. The boy teenager has a Grandpa who was an SS Officer during World War II. The teen's Grandpa has very good taste and the teen feels that he can talk to his Grandpa. An investigator who is a friend of the girl's family girlfriend finds out about the Grandpa being an SS Officer. The investigator does not set out to make trouble for the Grandpa but he has trouble from this anyway.

The Grandpa has to run away because it is discovered that he was once an SS Officer with the German army during World War II. The Grandpa has to go into hiding. He must leave his grandson behind. He does not get caught by the police, but he can not see his family now.

The Holocaust was a horrible event. It was the annihilation of over six million Jewish people. The Holocaust was led by Adolph Hitler. Adolph Hitler was the head of Germany. Germany is a country in Europe. Germany wanted to rule the world, but the Germans thought that the only smart intelligent people were ones of Aryan descent. Germany had taken over most of Europe when America entered the war and helped to bring an end to World War II and the Holocaust.
