How to Become Smart Americans

A lot a people in this country always ask themselves makes a smart person? Well I believe that a smart person is someone who is responsible for there actions, and take the responsibility to themselves, the community and, the country and this is why. The reason I believe this is because if you ever want to be a smart person you need to educate yourselves the best way to educate yourself is to read books about society and how we interact with others. But you don't necessary have to read to be a smart person. You can learn from your community by interacting your self in community service this will allow you to see how people with problems more important than your own, and show you how you can make a difference in their lives. You can educate yourself by reading the newspaper or articles online to really understand what's happing around the world most of the time we as Americans don't really educate themselves of the candidates running for political office and we vote for someone with out really knowing their background, with out knowing their qualifications so we vote based on color of skin, age, and sex which is wrong. For our Countries sake we need to better educate our self about the candidates running for something like the president of the united states, if we took the effort to do our homework then just maybe we can get someone in their who will get the job done. To sum it all up we need to flush our ignorance down the toilet other wise our country won't improve one reason for the ignorance in our country is the treatment of technology our probably think wow did he just say the T word!
