There were many forces that helped start the cultural makeup of earlier civilization. Geography helped by deciding if a culture can focus on agriculture, killing animals and bring food to the tribe, exchanging etc. The creatures that where hunted would cause problems in the culture's diet. The culture's religion would really get affected from the natural environment. Is the sun a big part of the cultures life? They believed the son was a god, and they also believed there was a rain goddess and was a big part of there religious belief. If a civilization lived near other people that had different beliefs from there own, they would learn new languages and beliefs that other cultures practiced. If a culture were to be away from another culture it would be very protective of its own beliefs and culture background. Other ideas that are not there's would be viewed as crazy or even not of this world. It really depend on the type of resource they had available when they built there homes, basically saying if all they had near there homes was wood then wood would be the major material that they would use when they would make there homes. It went the same way as far as the types of weapons and tools they used, and as for the food they eat it really depend what was the typical animal near them, like fish, dear, or even pigs. (Peterson, R 2010).
Depending of the type of humans is what made the different cultures; many of the different cultures would fight over land and even killing each other for eat became very common. If two groups could not understand each other they would just end up in a battle rather than a friendship. Wars created army's and led for some cultures to have more food and resources to there benefit. As they developed tools to work with they got ideas to develop weapons as well. A main reason for war was religion, since some cultures had different religious belief they took it upon war to settle their differences
From the start, the main reason to go to war and keep fighting was the desire for food, clothes, comfort, and housing for their families. As time went by food, housing, region, and the security were the only reason to live. As time went by new tools where created based on the necessities humans had while trying to survive in this cruel world. The art, temples, and various household items were created along the way as necessities grew. (AIU Online 2011).
