Q. Who is your favorite character in the film and explain why he or she is so appealing.

A. In the movie, Fellowship of the ring, Frodo is my favorite character. There are many reasons why he is my favorite character, but I am going to share the top three reasons. One reason is because he is very brave. An example of his bravery is when he volunteered himself to take the Ring to Mordor to destroy it. During his journey to destroy the ring, he encounters many dangers including the Ringwraiths, the Balrog, and Orcs. Most people would have given up because they wouldn't want to get killed. But Frodo was brave enough to keep going, even if there was a good chance he would get killed. Another reason why I like Frodo is because he is very loyal. Frodo is loyal enough to risk anything to save middle earth, even if it meant risking his life. As the ring-bearer, he could have just taken the ring for himself. But he is loyal to the fellowship and keeps it safe. The last reason why I like Frodo is because he doesn't give in to temptation easily. The main difference between Frodo and the other members in the fellowship is that Frodo doesn't give into the rings temptation as much as the others. There are many times in the movie where the other members in the fellowship try to take the ring from Frodo. For example, Boromir tried to take the ring from Frodo, thinking that it was the only way to save his realm. Since Frodo is brave, loyal, and resists temptation, I chose him as my favorite character.
