People lives has steps are almost the same no matter what country or culture their background from. It is starts as a child going to school for a couple years and after graduation he or she either find a job or continue studying for a Masters or a PHD degree to get a better job. So it's the same result. The only difference is where we know that this is what was meant to be for us and that what we couldn't do much better work on it. In other word that is our limit. That's lead me to try to define do people have only one purpose to work just to get paychecks or they are having other purposes.

First of all, No one can deny that we need money to have a nice life so we can afford all of our expenses such as education our children, have a good health insurance and all the other expenses. So one of the main purposes of having a job is to get a salary can cover at least most of the person expenses.

On the other hand, there are some jobs people have selecting them for other purposes than just the salary, such as any type of the Medical Department, The Education system, and other jobs I can fill this page with. People have selecting those jobs to help others how have the need to be helped, for instinct, sick people need medical care around the hour so Nurses and Doctors are dedicating their efforts to help those people. Moreover Teachers are giving a huge amount of efforts to educate children and also tolerate their obnoxious behaviors during class time just to teach them something can benefit them in their life's.

In brief, and to be more honest, it is depends on the person personality. It is a matter of choice. You can choose your job just for money purposes or you can choose it to be more effective in his society and in the same time get a good salary could cover all of your expenses. And to be more honest, that was my reason to select a teaching job in a university and in the same time I can work in a hospital in the same time. I can teach and cure ill people who deserve all my attention and to do the best for them so they can be relieved from their illness.
