General goal: To Inform
Specific Purpose: To inform my classmates about the Mormon religion

I. Attention getter: Have you ever thought to yourself, what's my purpose ?
II. Topic Revelation Statement: In the next few minutes I will inform you about the Mormon Church and their beliefs.
III. Significance Statement: The Mormon religion might sound just like any other church but it's not. All churches have their own beliefs.
IV. Credibility Statement: I have attended the Mormon Church.
V. Preview of Main Points: First, I will explain where we came from. Second, I will be explaining why we are here. Finally, I will be explaining where we are going.
Body
Transition statement: First let me start by explaining where we came from.
I. So where did we come from?
A. Your life did not begin at birth, nor will it end at death. You are made up of a spirit body and a physical body.
B. Throughout your pre-earth life, you were taught the principles and commandments that would lead to happiness.
Transitional Statement: Know that I've explained where we came from I will be explaining why we are here.
II. So why are we here?
A. This life is to prepare us for our time to meet God.
B. Because of the fall, you are separated from god physically and spiritually.
Transitional Statement: We just covered why we are here let's talk about where we are going.
III. Where are we going?
A. At death your spirit leaves your body and goes to the spirit world, a place of preparation, learning, and resting from care and sorrow.
B. Death will not change your personality or your desire for good or evil.

Conclusion
I. Review of Topic and Many Points: Now you know where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going.
II. Lasting Thoughts: When you understand that God is your father that he loves you, and that he has made it possible for you to gain experience and knowledge here and become like him after this life, you know the importance of your decisions during your life. You understand that you must follow Jesus
