Rangle Punjab di sift sunava,

Vae jithe rab vargian maawan.

Dharti Panj dariya di raani,

Jis da sharbat warga paani...

Sikh lo nachna khedna ganna,

Vae ethe vaar vaar nahi aanna.

Jagg jiven chaar dina da khela

Jana vichar bhrawo mela.

Rangla Punjab Mera Rangla Punjab.

Balle Balle

Chak de phatte

Yes, Punjab is a place so extraordinary, and its heritage so rich, that its picturesque wheat fields, its placid rivers, its enticingly finger-licking-good food its ultimately fascinating bhangra and gidha, and its aesthetic hospitality together can provide the most amazingly unforgettable and wholesome experience. If Punjab is the land where colours fly so perfectly through their traditional festivities and celebrations, then Punjab is also the place where the holiest of Sikh shrines, Golden temple and sacred Hindu scriptures, the Vedas, have diversified. And how can I not mention, the exuberance-filled bhangra and lively gidha dances? But friends, the heart of Punjab really lies in that simple mutiyar, decorated in bright hues and golden tikka preparing lassi, or those little kids who are more than just proud to be born here, and in that simple kisaan who toils tirelessly to make sure that Punjab remains the Granary basket of India. The heart of Punjab lies in its people and their Punjabiness.
