There is some something we need to know about the web. There over millions or trillions people using the web to go on networking sites or even to look at pornography, play games, etc... Mostly people go the internet for business, personal, and education. As us humans we don't know what kind of things go on the internet especially the social networking sites like Face book, MySpace, twitter and even flickr. These networking sites have good and bad. Not so much MySpace it used to be the number now face book is the number one networking site that everyone around the world gets on. But the main topics we are going to talk about is what is good and bad about these networking sites, what ages groups are on these networking sites, and how can we be safe from this sites. Even though it fun but there are a lot of stuff that goes on that we don't know about that we should know so we can be very careful what we do especially when we have children. We have to be secure about the internet and the social net working sites. Can we stop these networking sites from stalkers or even killers?

The good things about this networking sites you can text, send messages, look at each other pages and see how your family and friends you haven't seen in awhile. You can create an event like a birthday party invitation, house party, get together with friends and family. Also we can organize groups. If you're into music you can promote your music to your friends and family. There are even producers you are looking for talented artists. You can make a profile and tell about yourself what you like? What are your hobbies? And what favorite book, TV shows, and music. The internet has good things you can do.

The bad things about getting on the sites people can use other people identity, there stalkers, killers, Rapist who get on these sites and fake that there really good people. For all we we don't know who we really talking too, someone could post anything and can cause conflict between two people. There are times people write how they feel send a warning that they going to kill themselves and we don't know. However, online social networks can also positively affect real life. Recently in England, a teen girl noticed that one of her Face book friends seemed suicidal. She took action and contacted authorities, who tracked the boy down and saved him from a drug overdose. Even actress Demi Moore has taken such action. She noticed a suicide threat in her Twitter feed and mobilized her followers to call local police Yes, these examples are extreme, but they do illustrate the power of social networking and social capital. Even though none of these people knew each other in real life, they still reached out to help because of their connections to each other online.
