It's a good thing Denish Garana Agcaoili was blessed with a big, bright smile because the man "Mr. Optimism" is seldom without one. A true blooded Ilocano from Lanao, Bangui Ilocos Norte was born on the 9th day of the cold December season. He was the 3rd among his four siblings. There are times that people was confused in his identity because of his feminine name. His name was mistaken in certification records to be a female because his name Denish is with "h", some of his certificates has the "Ms." before his name. He was born on December that is why his name starts with D.

He is a type of person who would sacrifice everything for his family. He loves his parents and siblings dearly. He has a family with close ties and respects each other. The family of Denish is the reason why he is striving hard to study. With his identity he is not ashamed that his family is not that rich. In fact, he is proud that despite the status of his family, he was able to study in a prestigious school with the help of the provincial government. He is proud to be a scholar of the province. The stipend he receives monthly is a great help for his family. He was able to pay his own tuition and pay dormitory expenses on his own. Sometimes he also gives her parents the excess of his allowance. The help of the provincial government helped the problem of his parents. He considered his scholarship to be one of his achievements in life. Despite financial problems he believes that God will provide and there are still tomorrow to look forward to.

As a student, Denish also needs to maintain grades for his scholarship. He is a type of student who strives hard just to learn and dedicated to finish his studies. He maybe lazy sometimes but he consider himself as a diligent student. His hope for schooling was his scholarship. Aside from being studious he was also interested to different sports like basketball, badminton and volleyball. He was able to play basketball near their house with his cousins. During his childhood days he was also able to learn how to swim. Like other college students, he is fond of collecting Garage Magazines, a modern guy's guide to style and Men's Health Magazines. Moreover, he is fond of buying items online. He is also known for his groovy moves in the university, a certified dancer of the university and a fashion icon.

One of the best achievements he had was when he joined the Denim King and Queen 2010 and Mr. and Ms. CAS pageant. With his masculine body and intelligent mind he was able to bring home the bacon. With his involvement in such activities he was able to compose himself and gain self-confidence. Another achievement was his participation in Speech Choir for two consecutive years wherein they were the champion. He also joined the theater plays in the university and played main roles in the stories. Indeed, a multi-talented student. With his exposure to different fields of activities
