1. The United States Constitution is the foundation of the nation. Discuss how the nation is able to rule millions of people while provided power to the masses. Do not use generalities; demonstrate your answer's accuracy by using TWO historical examples that exhibits how law has conflicted with the liberties of citizens and how citizens have "revolted" and won by using the Bill of Rights.

The United States Constitution written to limit the government powers. In the constitution there are three branches of government the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. These branches are balanced in power by the Checks and Balances; this means that no one branch has more power over the other two. The Executive Branch which consists of the President and his cabinet member such as the Secretary of State, Vice President, Treasurer is responsible for employing laws that are created by the Legislative Branch. The Legislative Branch which is the largest branch consists of The House of Representatives and The House of Senate. The Legislative Branch creates the laws of the nation. The legislative branch also overrules the presidential veto, when the president does not want to use the law, he can veto it. The last branch in the government is the Judicial Branch. First a member of the congress must introduce a bill, after the bill was looked at by the clerk and it was approved the by the committee the bill moved on to the Senators and House of Representivses where it would be voted on, if it is approved by the congress it will be passed on to the President which is the Executive Branch. Then the president may sign the bill or he may not. If he does not sign the bill then the congress can overrule it and make it law if two-thirds of the majority voted for the bill. The Balance of power was represented here because the congress even though the president did not approve the congress has another chance to make it a law without the President's signature. The Judicial branch would have a say in the bill if it was categorized to be unconstitutional.
