The news is a great attention grabber they bring us in by using emotional techniques. News is a mixture between the positive and the negative in one big container but what comes out of the container can't go back in so either you let it sit there and let it get spoil or you keep taking a piece until it all gone. Troy Davis execution was the main topic for the whole month of September. The Troy Davis story was about a man that was facing execution for a murder in 1989 but the controversial part was that the court didn't have any evidence of the killing. Troy Davis life was in jeopardy so he tried one more time for an appeal and a polygraph test before his set date of execution but it was rejected by the US Supreme court. Troy Davis was announced dead on September 21, 2011 at 11:08 pm. The news coverage ran with this story and everywhere you look the main story was about Troy Davis.

The story was cover in a large volume of media sources, not only channels like CNN, NBC, FOX News, CBS ,etc had coverage of the execution but channels like BET and MTV known as a music entertainment had updated coverage as well. The night of the execution the media made this story breaking news coverage all over but after Troy Davis died the media slowly calm down. The last Troy Davis coverage I seen on the news was about his funeral and more than 1000 people showed up and gave support to the Davis family.

The newspaper aspect goes more in depth about the case than television news. The newspapers talks about Troy Davis background, family and the kind of individual he was. They also talk about the case and how many different other routes they could've went to avoid an execution. Just like the news television coverage after Troy Davis death his story went from front covers to short columns.

The internet is probably the most active and updated information you can find about the Troy Davis execution.
