However, Thailand has a high Uncertainty Avoidance where the community prefers rules, supervision, and most importantly the certainty in terms of job security. Hence, such programme might not be as effective

Chinese cultural values such as the hierarchical system has low influence within Zhang’s company, and due to high competition, the value of “face” has also shifted into the direction where oneself comes first and perhaps less sensitivity toward other employees.

The Chinese culture has become extremely competitive the same way it happened in western nations, however, the hierarchy system still continues to impact many aspects of business practices today. There were some changes in societal work place such as changing from bureaucratic system to more efficient and competitive environment. Nevertheless, the nation cultural values are still a big part of China.
