Miss e has come to therapy at the age of 29, after 6 years her relationship broke down and now 6 months later she feels ready to move on, however her previous partner was very controling and the partner seemed to want her to keep overweight,
her weight has been a problem for her since the age of about 13, her perents also put her down over her weight issue and said she was unattractive.
Miss e wants to loose weight but the many diets she has tried have all failed, she is embarking on a all girls holiday in 3 months and hopes to loose 2 1/2 stone in this time.
Miss e has come to hypnotherapy to want to succeed in her attempt to loose weight, so in the initial consultation further information wouls be extracted from her about her lifestyle and her current situation and also her personal history, the reasons why people overeat are not always understood by the individual and are usually bueried deep within the subconcious, these reasons can cause physical and emotional damage.
However, with the treatment of Miss e, i would visually assess her to make sure wheather or not she actually need to loose the weight, it would be etically wrong to proceed with any treatment or have any financial gain if Miss e was a normal size.
If this is not the case then the weight loss needs to be addressed as 2 1/2 stone in three months is rather optimistic and unrealistic, a healthy weight loss of 2 pounds a week is more realistic and health.....
