Comcast Corporation (known as Comcast) was founded in 1963 by Ralph Roberts. Mr. Roberts purchased the company for $500,000 in Tupelo, Ms. (History of Comcast, 2011).Comcast develops, manages and operates broadband cable networks and communication systems. Comcast is the largest cable provider with over 20 million subscribers to date (History Of Comcast, 2011). Comcast offers services such as cable T.V., high speed internet and voice services. Their core business is cable television with 228 million video users since being established.
