Critical thinking skills need to be prioritized according to the most important and most effective skills. Critical thinking skills must be well thought out before putting into a rational argument in order to be effective. A well thought out plan of attack is the best way to think before using any essential critical thinking skills. There are several critical thinking skills that a person may use for effectiveness. But, some of the skills are more important and lead to be more effective than other skills. Example to what I am saying; such as the little assignment that we are doing in class on paper, on the first look at the paper you might say oh this is easy. Then when you take a better look at it, you find yourself think and gathering you though in depth just to give the best answer you can. That to me is important because it can make the difference between an A paper or F paper. Great example the Bible, It has tons of story and event that have occur and to occur soon in the future, now everyone does not understand it the same way if they did then we should just be a colt. The Bible is the sender and we are the receiver and the bible is sending the message and we have to interpret it the best we can to understand the message. And that take in depth thinking.

When a person is expected to make a decision about a particular subject while engaged in a conversation with another person, some of the points I conceder to be the most important are to 1) Determine what information is or is not pertinent, 2) Separate fact from opinion, and 3) Recognize the ways in which evidence might be limited or compromised. As long as you know the information the sender is talking about, number one will be quite easy to determine or at least the receiver will be able to research the information and find out if it is pertinent. If the receiver is able to separate the fact from fiction, the receiver will be able to make an educated decision based on the facts and not on the opinion of the sender. Once the receiver is able to know the facts from the opinion of the sender, the receiver will be able to tell if the sender has given all the information the receiver needs to make a decision or if the sender is trying to make the receiver make a decision that the sender is wanting.
