Crooks Case

Crooks is a black man that experiences isolation because of the society he lived in. "Cause im black. They play cards in there, but I cant cause im black. They say I stink. Well I tell you, you all stink to me".

Crooks lonliness results from rejection. He isnt allowed to take part in daily events with the white people such as, card games. He is treated like an outcast and very unfairly and acts the same way to white people, that have offended him.

urely's wife is a lovely woman but also very isolated. Curley's wife is very unhappy. She has nobody to talk to except Curley, her jealous husband, who she married after she did not get a letter of a talent scout who told her that she has the talent for a moviestar. Curley's wife is really unhappy with her husband, because Curley isolates her, so she can not talk to anybody. Shes quite a dangerous woman for the men on the farm.

as no family he can talk to. The loss of his hand and his age isolates him. His only friend is his dog. Although he can not talk to his dog and he maybe can not tell him his problems, but his dog was always a loyal companion and always gave him company. After his dog gets shot, he is really sad and depressed he says that it would have been better when he had shot his old dog by himself.A semi-detached house is suitable for a single parent family,nuclear family or a married couple. Cheaper to buy or rent than a detached house or bungalows. Children may have a bedroom each,garden to play in, near shops and schools.
