Current Working Draft:

The couple is about to make a radical decision on two choices, or two directions, like: the two realness that pass the station, and the openness, loneliness around the railroad station which imply that there is no way they can back out of the problem at this time, the man and the and the woman must talk about the problem. As she observes the white hills she prepare herself for a happy birth of her child, but something is different like the unusual white elephant, and the color white which also symbolizes the innocent and purity of her unborn child.

As I talk about this story it going to give the reader the consequence that the couple is experiencing some kind of tension as they struggle to talk to each other by trying to have a conversation, and avoid any topic on the literature, "having the white elephant in the room". this happens when the topic is talk about, but in the couple case the white elephant is showed on top of the hill, but in real life they are talk about if the girl should have an abortion although the couple has been traveling, and they live an individual way of living in which to bring up a child the man did not want to change the way he lived, and the woman want more. She knew if she had the abortion it would be over and the man would want to continue travel around the world and own it. She knew that this was in impossible because her decision is always going to be put forth. As the feels increase so do the tension, but they need to make some kind of decision and the decision is getting harder for them to make, but the man thinks that once they come to a decision he believe that ever thing will return to normal. By not having a formal identification of each character other then calling them the man and woman reader have to give them a personalities base on the information that the author has give to use by keeping the reader more contemplating on what going to happen at the end.

The symbolism and setting of the story is that the girl refer to her unborn child as the white elephant, and the American man cannot see the baby as a white elephant and he does not what to raise this baby because it is to expense, but the woman can see that her child is going to be very extraordinary in her mundane life by drinking and mindless traveling " Hill like White Elephant". But somehow the author use iceberg as a theory of omission. He also present it as a message it the subtext. Example in the story with the word " abortion". He also talk about the male character
