Food Case

Two meals that my family eats occasionally are tri-tip, with salad with a side of corn or baked potato. The second would be lemon seasoned grilled chicken breast, again with salad with either brown or white rice. For drinks, we have water, juice, or tea. We always have a salad along with a side to fully compliment the meal being consumed. The first meal I will breakdown will be the tri-tip with salad and a baked potato.

* Tri-tip:

1. This item is a USDA certified roast either grilled or cooked in a crock pot

2. Item is bought at our local Save Mart which is based in California

3. Item is packaged and produced in the USA

* Salad:

1. Ready Pac or product used from fruit bard, or farmers market

2. Produced of the USA

3. Packaged in California, and was sold at Costco

* Corn:

1. Bought at the local fruit stand or farmers market

2. Grown by the local farmer

* Baked Potato:

1. Market Pantry or other brand

2. Sold by Target

3. Produced in the USA, usually imported from Idaho

* Drinks:

1. Lipton Tea, bottled water, or juice

2. Bought at any store

3. Tea is packaged in New Jersey, made in India

4. Kirkland brand water

5. Bought at Costco

6. Purified and bottled in California

7. Juice

8. Bought at any store

This meal was the product of four different purchases from four different retailers. We shop where you can get great quality and quantity for the buck. There are several lists involved for different stores for the cheapest products. Each of these items had to either be grown or raised, healthy and edible for human consumption.
