IT and Lean management philosophy and its foundation

As we all know, Lean method is developed on the basis of the Toyota production mode, mass production and the advantages of single production. The goal is to eliminate waste and reduce inventory and shorten the production cycle and makes every effort to achieve low cost production technology on time, the ultimate goal is through the process optimization, the whole logistics, efficient use of resources, eliminate all inventory and waste, achieved with the least amount of funds for offering our customers the most perfect value purpose.

Compared with other massive production methods, the advantage of lean management are as follows:

First, Lean management focus on customers. Lean production is the core concept of value stream, and the only valuable thing is what customers really need. From the viewpoint of the customer's , the producer view the design to production and delivery of all process from customers' view. They try to reduce the waste during the whole process and eliminate all process and product function which don't increase the customer value, try best to decrease the additional costs on customers and try to maximum meet customers' demand.

Second, Lean management pay attention on the staff. Lean emphasizes the human factors, such as employee morale, proficient skills, full participation in jobs, continuous improvement ideas, etc. The company treat employees as their most important resources .

Third, Eliminate waste, optimize the process, and reduce the cost. The non-value added activities does not create value and can immediately remove the steps, we called type 1 Muda. Lean method first efforts to eliminate the type 1 Muds, reduce costs, and then make the product flow in the whole process. Through continuous flow, eliminate waste, further optimize the process, and the waste will be reduced.

Third, Lean management can shorten the process cycle, improve ability of response. Lean approach treat customer demand as the starting point, and adopt Kabnna management and pull system instead of push system .It can quickly and reliably reduce process cycle and lead time, improve efficiency, reduce a lot of waste at the same time, accelerate cash flow, eventually improve the enterprise's ability to response market changes.

Starting from the raw materials , JIT require producer must eliminate all waste, continuously improve productivity targets. It covers a complete set of production activities from product design to finished production. The core of JIT philosophy is: to eliminate all invalid labor and waste, and pursuit of perfection in market competition forever .
