In my essay today I will discuss the following lives of Jesus and Mohammed. I will compare the impact of the deaths of Jesus and Mohammed had on their respective religion. I will describe each of the "individual" worshipped, and explain how "their" messages are being carried out in the world today.

Jesus Birth and Youth

According to About.com Christianity (2011) Mary, a virgin, was living in Galilee of Nazareth and was engaged to be married to Joseph, a Jewish carpenter. An angel visited her and explained to her that she would conceive a son by the power of the Holy Spirit. She would carry and give birth to this child "and" she would name him Jesus.

Mary gave birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, the wise man come from the east to bring gifts, and to worship him. According to Luke when Jesus was twelve he went to Jerusalem with his parents to celebrates the Passover. When the Passover was over Jesus parents left him behind in Jerusalem by mistake, when they return to find Jesus after three days. Jesus was in the temple sitting in the midst of teacher, he was listening and asking questions. The teachers were astonished of Jesus understanding and his answers. When he ask was by his mother , Mary What have you done this to us? He asks his parents Why do you seek me? Did you not know that I must be about my Father's business? At this young age, it shows he had clear consciousness of his identity and his mission this was the beginning of Jesus teaching, and his ministry.

Jesus Ministry

Jesus have performed many miracles, such as turning water into wine, healing the sick, restoring the dead to life, walking on water, casting devils out of the possessed, and turning a few loaves and fish into enough food to feed a crowd of thousands, with copious leftovers Fisher, M. P. (2005). Jesus choose twelve Jewish men, know as the disciples to follow him through his ministry. He taught, train, and prepare the disciples to order to carry out his ministry he when he is gone.

Crucifixion and Resurrected of Jesus

Pontius Pilate order the crucified of Jesus, Pontius Pilate was the Roman governor. Pontius Pilate crucified Jesus for claiming to be King of the Jews. After three days of Jesus death, resurrected and he appeared to his disciples and then he ascended into heaven.

Mohammed Birth and Youth

Mohammed father died several weeks before his birth while visit his maternal relatives. Mohammed mother die while journey to town called 'Abwa' when Mohammed was six. After his mother died he went to live with his grandfather and raise him until his death. After grandfather death he then raise by his uncle and Mohammed uncle put him to work as a shepherd.
